Artist Statement
The lines, colors and textures of nature and the world around me provide an endless inspiration. A driving force of my work is to push beyond the standard concept of the medium and make the subjects of my work more expressive. Whether it is to make the traditionally graphic screen print have a more painterly look or to merge photo imaging and line in intaglio, I enjoy making an image that is pleasing to my eye and hope others feel the same. I use the printing tools not only because I can make multiples of my images, but as a medium for expression.
