Cross Pollination, a mixed media art exhibit at Studio Channel Islands Art Center in Old Town Camarillo, will open March 3 with a reception and award ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will feature works by 15 artists who have crossed several art techniques and mediums to create something fresh and beautiful. Artists Marketplace and Open Studios

This holiday season, Studio Channel Islands Art Center in Old Town Camarillo opened its doors to shoppers who were fed up with fighting crowds and waiting in lines at department stores.  The Artists’ Holiday Marketplace on Dec. 2nd and 3rd offered guests a chance to browse hundreds of unique handmade gifts in a relaxing, old-world environment.  Bright star lanterns and strings of lights decorated the space between the artists’ studios.
