Studio Channel Islands Presents “Art à la Mode”
This year’s honoree recipients are:
Donna Granata – Medici Award
Bijian Fan – Artist of the year award for Distinguished Service to the Community
Bob Privitt – Volunteer of the Year for Extraordinary Service to SCI
CAMARILLO, CA – August 13, 2016 – Studio Channel Islands presents its annual Art à la Mode Fundraiser. Co-chairs Teri Edsall and Joani Halcomb invite guests to “Sip some wine and step into the world of art. Elevate your senses and emotions while observing live demonstrations by talented professional artists”. The black tie optional event takes place on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at Las Posas Country Club, 955 Fairway Drive, Camarillo, CA 93010.
Featured at the event are a silent auction, complementary wine and a raffle followed by dinner, a live auction and presentation for the Medici, Artist of the Year for Distinguished Service, and Volunteer of the Year for Extraordinary Service awards.
Studio Channel Islands is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the arts in our community, providing unique and diverse artistic encounters for all ages and extraordinary opportunities for artists. Ongoing programs include Artists-In-Residence open studios, arts education classes, diverse Blackboard Gallery exhibitions, cultural events, festivals, and much more. Proceeds from the Art à la Mode event will benefit Studio Channel Islands art studio, education and outreach community programs.
