The Collectors Club is an exclusive program only available to the generous donors who support Studio Channel Islands. The artworks available to borrow through the Collectors Club includes a wide variety of paintings, sculptures, ceramic and fiber art as well as limited edition prints and glass work.

The Club Catalog is drawn from the private collections of artist members of Studio Channel Islands and all work remains the property of the artist throughout the loan. Collectors Club members can borrow works from the catalog for a period of 12 weeks and depending on the level of membership either borrow 4 or 8 works per year.

Supporter level members can borrow up to 4 works per year & Collector level members can borrow up to 8 works per year

Borrowing Work

The Collectors Club catalog can be searched online or in the Store at Studio Channel Islands. Artwork within the Collection is held by the artists until the loan is agreed, at which point the work is delivered to the Studio ready for collection.

Once you have selected a work to borrow, either from the online catalog or from the artist’s studio, you then contact Katherine Cooksey to arrange the loan. At the point of collection you will be issued with a Loan Agreement specific for the work you are borrowing. This Loan Agreement will include a condition report, display instruction and a confirmation of the period of the loan. The condition report will include a photograph and detail of any imperfections to the work prior to the loan.

Collection Club members are encouraged to visit the artist’s studio to view work prior to selection and to attend Club events to learn more about the range of artists represented by the Club.

Return of Borrowed Work

Artworks can be returned at any time to the Channel Islands Studio, no appointment is necessary to return work. All returning artwork will be condition checked prior to return to the artist. Work that is lost or damaged must be paid for.
