I am a film photographer, graphic designer, and illustrator with a fascination with texture and fine detail. I create work that is both time consuming and incredibly gratifying, from portraits to landscapes to abstract illustrative pieces. If I could live in an art studio, I absolutely would choose to do so, focusing every bit of my energy and attention on creating works that satisfy my interests and desires. Since 2019, I have pursued film photography as my main creative venture and have captured hundreds (or maybe even a couple thousand) images of all sorts of subjects, though my favorites are landscapes and portraiture. I always have a camera with me – a heavy and massive medium format powerhouse – and often go places nobody in their right mind would go with equipment that cumbersome. I just think to myself, “If Ansel Adams could do it, why couldn’t I?” I am a strong proponent of long-term projects and have several in the works while working on my short-term projects.
