Explore the relationship between sight and sound in this interactive exhibition. The visual artwork responds to the rhythm, flow, and emotion of music, while the music played within the gallery amplifies the depth and energy of the paintings. Conduct the sounds in the gallery through the movements of your body, using the position of your hands and gestures to change the pitch and tone of the music. The entire gallery will become an instrument and soundscape, creating a unique experience with each visit.

In addition to composing for film and TV, Don has written and produced the scores for dozens of “Spectaculars” worldwide for Disney, for Singapore’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, Presidential Inaugurals and the Bicentennial Celebration of the Constitution. His music has been heard by millions and his score for Believe in Holiday Magic at Disneyland has warmed the hearts of audiences for over two decades.
As a songwriter, Don has written both music and lyrics for Disney Spectaculars, stage shows, Radio City Music Hall, Sight & Sound Theaters, Sesame Street, and Super Bowl Halftimes.
Harper’s passion for the arts also manifests outside of film scoring as well. His studio and creative refuge is called “Sessions at the Loft”. This creative space is part recording studio, public art gallery and performance venue located in historic Old Town Camarillo. Don sits on the board of Studio Channel Islands Art Center and is committee chair for their live events and performances. He is also board member and president of Discovery Arts, a non-profit that brings interactive art programs to children receiving cancer treatment in Southern California hospitals. Don has created projects like Dreams of Mouron, an innovative art and music “Living Gallery”, in collaboration with acclaimed Swiss artist Didier Mouron.
Marion Wood is a British abstract artist currently living and working in the Camarillo area of Southern California. She is a Resident Artist at Studio Channel Islands.
“The invitation of the blank canvas and the purity of the act of painting is what inspires me. Growing up in the English countryside, where endless rainy days often kept me indoors, I turned to drawing—and eventually, painting—as a primary pursuit. Over decades of filling blank canvases, I found my own voice through constant experimentation.
There is something raw and beautiful about working on large-scale canvases—using my whole body to inhabit the space, with no premeditated outcome. Each painting becomes a dialogue between myself and the materials, unfolding in the immediacy of the moment. I explore the tension between order and chaos, the joy and the struggle of creation. I leave my gestures visible—the drip, the flow, the strike—whether emotional, playful, or aggressive, laying it bare for the viewer to witness.”
“I’m a geometric abstract artist based in Camarillo, California.
I grew up in Oxnard, where I was always drawn to creativity, but struggled to focus in traditional settings. With a constantly active mind, I found clarity through simplifying—both in how I worked and how I saw the world.
Art became that outlet.
What started as a way to slow down evolved into a daily practice rooted in structure, balance, and intention. Today, I create work defined by clean lines, thoughtful composition, and subtle shifts in color—each piece reflecting my ongoing pursuit of clarity.”
