Stella Violano is a California artist known for her paintings of Western landscapes, Historic themes as well as seascapes, portraits and animals.

A lifelong Ventura County resident, she has drawn attention to the plight of homeless animals through her art, having painted dozens of pets in local shelters. She cofounded the Mountain Aire Animal Shelter and Art Helping Animals. A former Art instructor at California Lutheran University, she has a strong following of private and open studio students.
