Program
The Art Bash celebration of creativity commences at 2pm, including exhibitions of visual art, live music and dance performances and workshops, as well as the launch of the Poetry Summer Program anthology.
Studio Channel Islands has been transformed with three giant immersive art installations, the Hole Point art-cade interactive sculptures, the Fantasy Garden of outsized flowers and pollinators, and first walk-thru mural and poetry sculpture.
Families are encouraged to take part in our drop-in visual art and music workshops in the A wing courtyard. Our literary community is invited to celebrate the work of our summer poetry school, peruse the mobile poetry library and collaborate putting the finishing touches to our poetry sculpture in the B wing patio. Music lovers can explore Art Alley with classical guitar and ensemble performances, musical petty zoo and immersive choral performances.
The Art Studios will open throughout, with scratchboard and print making demonstrations, watercolor and ceramic workshops.
