Mark Meichelbock is a Southern California native born in Palos Verdes and currently residing in Camarillo Ca. He is a contemporary representational fine artist in the naturalist tradition whose aesthetic sensibilities are rooted in the works of John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn and Johannes Vermeer. He taught concurrently for five years at The California Art Institute and the Art Academy Of Los Angeles. His works have been exhibited in the Oil Painters of America National Show, The International Museum Of Contemporary Masters Salon International Show, and the American Artist magazine.
