I am a classically trained artist who specializes in making painted objects, including boxes, musical instruments, furniture and teacups, etc. I also created a series of of portraits of geishas done in the Japanese woodblock style from the 1800’s.. My style is eclectic and mixes up elements of surrealism, classicism, realism, cubism, and recently I began doing portraits of musicians in a retro “western Americana” style. I also completed a series of portraits of geishas done in a Japanese woodblock style where separate elements from the east and west and incorporated. I dropped out of the art scene to raise a family twenty years ago and so am looking forward to getting involved and exhibiting once again!
