Tinacos, or the commercially known Rotoplas, are everywhere in the roofs of Mexico City, regardless of status or income cap, its more than likely that a tinaco is sitting on the roof of your house.
These cistern systems become almost part of the chilago identity and are often referenced in popular culture.
This tinaco contains images of public transport vehicles and signs, along with street vendor posts as a way of narrating what is like living in the City.
Life is fast, always in a rush, and often enough, your meals will come from street vendors, especially if work/school is across the City.
This is a homage to the identity of my home, the memories of my travels within in, and my way of elevating thse surroundings in a medium that is capable of surviving well past my lifetime for future generations to know what the surroundings in my time were
