SCIART is turning 25! Studio Channel Islands invites you to attend our celebrations to mark our 25th anniversary year. We will be celebrating throughout 2024 with special exhibitions and events to commemorate the past and look forward to the future.

SCIART Members Retrospective
March 2 – March 30, 2024

SCIART is celebrating our 25th anniversary with an exhibition of work by artists who have shared this journey with us.

Studio Channel Islands invites our Artist Members to submit up to four works for consideration. The works submitted can be either:

• Older work which expresses the artists relationship with the organization
• Recent work which shows the artists creative growth

Artists should include a short statement about the work proposed. This will be included in the online marketing of the exhibition and presented within the gallery during the exhibition. Artist statements should be concise and written for a general audience.

The Members Retrospective will open on March 2nd with Art & Jazz and close on March 30th with Dinner in the Gallery, a special event where guests will have the chance to win pieces from the exhibition.

Artists may submit up to 4 pieces for consideration, maximum of 1 piece will be selected per artist. All pieces in the exhibition will be part of the fundraising event at the close of the exhibition. Artists will receive a $500 award if their piece is chosen during the fundraising event. All artworks not chosen by the end of the exhibition will be returned to the artist. Pieces should be valued between $1,000 and $3,000.
