Spontaneity, repetition, inventive shapes, lines, and color have been constant in my artistic process since childhood. I make art, intuitively, similar to the way when I was drawing on dirt with sticks and stacking rocks as a child in a small village in Greece. While my process needs a great degree of spontaneity, it also requires sculpture, drawing and painting skills, and a sure, confident hand. The versatility and freedom to work in a variety of material allows me to experiment with this spontaneous approach to imagery. One form changes into another, one medium changes into another, nothing stays the same. My experiences and observations change as I move from place to place, as I get older, as I travel and meet new people. Everything is in constant flux. I make objects, drawings, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and installations that reflect these various changes.
